From The Ballad of Sir Stanley the Short-Lived.

Sir Stanley posed upon the rock, and grynned a gryn so proud.
The people gather’d down below, and he address’d the screaming crowde:
“Fear not, you folke, you simple folke, you bumpkins, oafs and louts!
Sir Stan is here, and you are safe! No need to fuss or pout!”

But though the knight did thinke the crowde did shout “huzzah” and “yay”,
juste one pause in his self-praise would’ve saved his life that day.
For unknownst to Short-Lived Stan the Knight, ne’er once did those folke cheer.
In fact the crowde was callyng out “Sir Stanley, mind your rear!”
